PARACAS ICA
Very early in the morning, around 5:45 am, we leave Lima on a comfortable tourist bus for a 4-hour trip along the Panamericana Sur highway to Paracas. Upon arrival, board a modern boat at El Chaco pier to visit the Ballestas Islands. After the boat tour, travel to Ica (1 hour) to explore the famous Huacachina Oasis, a beautiful desert lagoon surrounded by charming streets. Additionally, you can enjoy optional activities such as sandboarding, buggy rides, and more.
ISLAS BALLESTAS
At the appointed time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Lima or Paracas and transfer you to the local port. Once at the dock, we will start a speedboat tour to discover the coastal landscapes of the area. During the boat ride, we will see the carved lines of the enigmatic geoglyph of El Candelabro, and then skirt the coasts of the Ballestas Islands. Along the way, observe numerous local fauna such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and endemic birds flying over the islands. Finally, the boat ride concludes around 11:00 a.m., and we will take you back to your hotel or to your next tour.
OASIS DE LA HUACACHINA
The tour starts with an early pick-up between 3:00 and 4:00 am to travel to Paracas. Then, from 8:00 to 9:00 am, enjoy a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands. Afterwards, travel to Ica for lunch (not included) and a city tour, visiting Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral of the Lord of Luren, the Huacachina Oasis with its mermaid legend, the mystical town of Cachiche, and artisan wineries to taste pisco, wine, and cachina. Next, experience the Huacachina Desert with dune buggy rides and sandboarding. Finally, the tour ends around 4:00 pm, leaving free time to explore the oasis before spending the night at your lodging.
